Cigna's COVID-19 Coverage Update
  • As federal guidelines evolve in support of the COVID-19 pandemic, Cigna is adopting a position consistent with the federal public health emergency period. As such, we will extend the customer cost share waivers to mirror the timing of the federal emergency period through the end of July.

Cigna Launches Real-time Digital Capabilities For COVID-19 Customers
  • Press release announces to the marketplace Cigna partnered with Medocity, a healthcare technology company, that will provide an interactive digital tool that provides remote monitoring for customers who are presumptive positive or positive for COVID-19 and at home with mild to moderate symptoms.
  • Medocity for Cigna allows customers to track their symptoms, connect with care advocates and access behavioral and emotional supportive resources. If COVID-19 symptoms become more severe, Cigna Care Advocates can reach out to the customer directly to provide guidance and care coordination support.
  • The program is available at no cost to all Cigna commercial medical customers.
  • Cigna provided clients and brokers an advance notification on the Medocity for Cigna tool on April 27.
