We’re here for you during this difficult time.
During this unprecedented COVID-19 crisis, we are committed to understanding our clients’ unique challenges and working together to provide assistance in the most impactful way we can. To that end, in recognition of the impact the COVID-19 crisis has had on our customers’ ability to access and receive routine dental care services, we are implementing a program designed to provide assistance and relief to clients who were active during the month of May. This program is offered to Cigna Dental fully insured clients as a result of the decrease in dental claim activity seen to date, and expected in the near term due to temporary dental office closures. Administrative Services Only (ASO) Clients and Level FundingSM / Graded FundingSM are not included in this program.

Cigna Dental Client Relief Program
Dental group clients who were active in May 2020 will receive a one-month premium credit. In order to determine the size of the credit, we will use information from each client’s May-billed insured-product premium.

We anticipate that premium credits will be automatically applied by July 31, 2020, subject to state regulation, and your client will not need to request action from their billing analyst.*

Dental group clients sitused in Washington who were active in May 2020 will receive a 50% rate reduction for their July and August billed insured-product premium, subject to state regulation.
